WALK-IN CLINIC & URGENT CARE CENTRE

 

Effective October 6, 2014, Rideau Valley Health Services (RVHS) will be starting a new walk-in clinic with Family Physicians seeing patients on a walk-in basis. 

Patients will also have the opportunity to sign up with one of our new family physicians accepting patients. 

During walk-in-in hours, the Urgent Care Centre will be closed; however, it will remain open outside of the walk-in hours. 

Many of the ailments that take people to the Urgent Care Centre can be treated by family physicians during office hours. 

In addition to urgent care and family medicine, RVHS offers onsite diagnostic imaging, a growing number of specialists, a pharmacy, medical laboratory, and community health services such as diabetes education. 

Rideau Valley Health Services will continue to recruit more family physicians in response to the needs of this rapidly growing community, and provide urgent care outside of regular business hours. 

For RVHC patients who have a RVHC Primary Care physician, we ask that you arrange to see your primary care physician if possible. By all means if your medical needs cannot wait until the next day that the Primay Care centre is open then we encourage you to come in and seek medical attention.
